About The Liberian Community Association In The Washington Metropolitan Area

 

The Liberian Community Association in the Washington Metropolitan Area is the community association for Liberians living across the Washington Metropolitan Area. The area covers the Maryland, Virginia surburbs and the District of Columbia, and it is the home to near 25, 000 Liberians, and is considered leading Liberian affluent community.

 

The Association provides a great opportunity for Liberians to work to gether in providing news and infromation leading to services that are important to all Liberians. The Association, through the representation by its leadership, has reached out to the various groups in the community by attending their functions. The religious community remains one of strong pillars of support the association.

 

LCA Washington is also an affiliated chapter of the Union of Liberians Association in the America, or ULAA.
